they say morality should be based on the golden rule... do unto others as you'd want them to do unto you.
however, that doesn't always work. you think it's okay to eat pork, but others do not. so what do you do in those cases?
ultimately I don't believe in a higher morality
nor do I think we can limit morality by some technical rule that everybody can agree on.
the golden rule is a nice heuristic.
I have a better one though.
do whatever you can get away with and won't feel guilty for later.

hmm, okay, if you don't feel guilty for murder and can get away with it do it???
no, you SHOULDN'T but if you were one of those people, you'd do it given those circumstances.
