EVERY GRADUATING CLASS marches forward like they are a single row.
however, many of them walk ahead, faster than the others, while others straggle.
into the battlefield they go, and as a result there are "first casualties" everywhere.
maybe first casualties is not the right word
more like "first movers" everywhere
over the past four years, I learnt about my peers having committed suicide, overcoming depression, having miscarriages, having babies, making big bucks, buying their first home, rebelling against their parents, getting published, winning contests, protesting, and going on to be VPs of professors at major companies.
slowly, our generation is sweeping over the current nodes supporting the grid that is mankind's ephemeral culture.
slowly, we are inheriting the Earth.
